From the memory book of Sherazade: Lotte and Hans Hass, two great guests
for a wonderful cruise.
We have worked so long for fulfilling this event that I almost couldn’t
believe it, until at the airport a blonde lady, Lotte, came towards me beaming with
open arms, such a strong emotion from the very first time. A fantastic memory
of evenings spent listening to stories, anecdotes and adventures, trepid days
catching the most various excitements on our guests’ eyes. Not least the
happiness of a couple for their revenge on the years going by (we’ve celebrated
Hans’s birthday: 88 years!), capable to repeat an incredible adventure, living
again the past, but at the same time presenting it again with a renewed
enthusiasm. Hence a memory book came to life, so that Sherazade, even if
relatively “young”, settling old and new stories, can manage to gain a wave of
this sea and belong, even if in part, to the history of Sudan, expanding its...
roots among the memories of two great pioneers. We like to pay homage
particularly to Lotte, a very special lady, who’s been the first scuba woman
and bravely took part, dived, lived and wrote, contributing at first hand to
great achievements and to this great tale. Thus the charm of the myth of the
great pioneer and of his inseparable partner has remained among us and it still
floats among Sherazade’s bulkheads and in this sea.
