October, why come to Sudan?

October is a good month for Sudan.

Sea temperature is about 29°, the air about 30-33°. The weather is settled, days are long and it’s not too windy.
The 1st of October is a good week for cruising:

operating boats are just a few and each one has a limited number of guests. This means to be alone during the cruise and be able to go diving only among the guests of Sherazade. How many seas not too far from Europe with these characteristics? No queues, no waiting, no stress and anxiety. A holiday dedicated to refreshment and regeneration.
The cruise start boarding at P.Sudan; as soon as you arrive on board, in the early afternoon, it’s possible to go to Umbria, just three miles from the port. You will have the chance to have the first swim and play with the sea right from the beginning.
Totally alone, you will be able to do the check dive around the Umbria, and then go diving and go on patrol and penetration. It’s well known that the Umbria is by far one of the most beautiful wrecks of the world.
It follows Sanganeb, with a trip to the lighthouse, one of the most fascinating landscapes with a view on the coral barrier reef. Then Sha'ab Rumi, Sha’ab Suedi and the wreck of Tojota, Qita el Banna, the magnificent pinnacle reaching the surface of blue water from the deep seabed. Then you get to Shambaia with Abington, Angarosh and Merlo, the most beautiful coral barriers of the North and, in conclusion, an excursion to the Mesharifa lagoons to have a swim with the mantas, take a walk on the golden little island.
We are talking about a “one way” itinerary of about eighty miles, with short daily trips, insomuch as cruising doesn’t ever penalise any activity. With the “one way” itinerary, it’s possible to have more time to halt in the coral barriers and, as well as diving, go snorkelling and swimming as much as you like just as in a real holiday.
Water temperature could seem high, however it doesn’t penalise much the spotting that have always been connected to tides and a bit of luck, as the sea, free nature, offers and denies itself at its discretion, you only need to keep your senses on state of alert, we still are in one of the most beautiful seas of the world, and Sha'ab Rumi is still one of the 10 most beautiful dives of the world.
You will enjoy the night dives, not penalised by the external temperatures, a real joy to plunge again even after sunset.
And the real privilege, exceptionality, astonishment, will be the loneliness, to have so much, the whole sea and horizon for you.

Regarding the rest of the tour and the flight, so important as well in order to make the holiday really complete: the only important thing is that it will land in Dubai and it’s not so hard as Dubai is a heart of the world for international travels. From Dubai you will travel comfortable and on time with Fly Dubai: Dubai – P.Sudan – Dubai.
Dubai is a very interesting city, modern, boasting about the highest skyscrapers of the world, it’s called the Manhattan of the desert, it could be fun if you decide to spend a day there on the outward journey.
If you decide only to transit instead, the airport is huge, beautiful and very well organised, you can find time to spend in the duty free area, really big and full of desirable things you may be interested to buy.
