"Amazing"
is the word most frequently uttered this... surprising week. This week we made
the most beautiful dives from the beginning of this season. We sighted sharks,
even hammer head between 25 and 30 meters and this is "amazing": a
reasonable depth and really much lower than in the past. A real joy.
The route
was a classic, with boarding and disembarking in Port Sudan: Umbria, Sanganeb,
Sha'ab Rumi, Qita el Banna and Shambaia with Angarosh,
Abington and Merlo. The
super diving sites and the more fascinating sightings have been: the hammer
sharks at Angarosh, school of barracuda of the south plateau at Sanganeb, and
memorable for each of the dives, Sha'ab Rumi.
The plateau
of Sha'ab Rumi has earned 4 repetitive dives for the quantity and variety of wonderful
fish and sharks. Gray sharks, quiet, almost curious, more than a dozen, have
swam on the plateau, the hammer sharks have made extensive passage always on
the edge of the plateau, giving remarkable excitement to our guests, about
thirty metres deep, then, as we have said many times, there was the rest of the
world: shoals of jack fish more or less dense, croaker, snapper and surgeons.
Solitary barracuda and grouper, and everywhere, even slightly detached from the
wall, clouds of Anthias .
"Amazing"
our friends continued to repeat, boarding the dinghy, and starting their way
back to the the airport to return to Europe, at home. All were very happy, but
to tell the truth even a little sad like when from a trip and from a dream you
return ... inevitably and unavoidably ..... to reality.
